Multiphase Flows
In this research area, microprocesses, which are carried out at the particle level (e.g. interaction of the particles with turbulent flows, particle impacts, agglomeration, bubble coalescence and -decay as well as drop collisions and coalescence), are analyzed using both experimental and numerical methods, to enable a corresponding theoretical description and modeling.
